Elementary schools around Williamson County opened their doors for students and their families to meet teachers, drop off school supplies and more at their Back to School Nights.

Allendale Principal Dr. Cindy Davis is returning to Longview Elementary as the school's new principal. Superintendent Jason Golden made the announcement on May 5.

Schools in Nashville will have more than 1,200 new books thanks to students at Longview Elementary.
